Go, Dog, Go!
I'm in the midst of week two of the "Run, Sam, Run!" campaign. I asked TangoDM to be my running coach and set me up with a program that would (a) get me in shape and (b) not result in any injuries. So far, so good - I'm enjoying it. Thanks, DM!
During tonight's run, I:
* saw a very flat squirrel squished on the road. I almost stepped on it, and imagined a doctor asking me how I broke my ankle. "I slipped on a squirrel." Doctor orders a drug test.
* had a cat chasing me. Remembering my mom's bad experience of being bitten by a cat, I was ready to defend myself if it turned hostile. It didn't. So, I didn't have to bust out my roundhouse cat kick.
* didn't see Wynnie when I returned home. Oh, that's right - she has a new home. She's been with another family for a week, and both the former and current owners are quite pleased. And Wynnie probably doesn't have anyone telling her "I HATE YOU!" - like someone may have done every day at my house.
Labels: kiss the brat terrier good-bye, running for 22 minutes and 40 seconds tonight

Yay! Rock on for running, that's great! Seriously, though--kick them hard if they come near you.

Wow, that poor unsuspecting family: they probably LOVE her too.
