Whale
We saw whales off of the Oregon coast. Amazing.
There was one that crested and we saw its back, and as it dove down, we saw the rest of its body, ending with the tail in the air. This was in Depoe Bay, where we also saw a woman who sounded like a man, and tried to sell us ugly shoes.
Oregon rules! There's tons of cool stuff to do here - and I'm glad I can finally enjoy it this summer.

Glad you didn't buy ugly shoes. Like you told me, it's like bringing a new member of the family to the closet. Well done on resisting the temptation.
