Art Appreciation

To add a bit of culture to our lives, here are some of my recent experiences with art.

Staff members from the Oregon College of Art and Craft visited Kevin's high school and chose two pieces of work for a juried show. Kevin's painting of an eagle was chosen. We visited the show today. Kevin's eagle is in the center of this picture. It's pretty sweet.

This is a close-up of Kevin's bird. I'm hoping that Kev gives me the bird, but I don't know if he will.

I bought this painting in Buenos Aires. This is La Boca - the colorful part of the city where I had my tango experience. And I bought some cool sandals.

This is classic art of an American role model.

Man, does Kevin's teacher make him write an explanation about what he paints too or is that just me? "It's not a bad thing, I just never know what your prints are about and I am curious where you can up with the design." That's code for, you're weird, I need proof to take to the health center.
