Speak The Words On Your Lips
Here is a snippet of my conversation with Rita/Oma/Traci's mom at dinner tonight.
Rita/Oma/Traci's mom: I want to take you to a hair salon so they can color and cut your hair.
FondlySam: Cool - but I want the color to be all gray, not brown.
R/O/Tm: That's fine. I don't care about the color.
FS: Oh.
R/O/Tm: Yes, I just want you to get your hair cut. It looks terrible.
FS: You need to be more direct with me. Just say what you mean.
R/O/Tm: (pauses) I don't know how to be more direct than that.
Labels: say it don't spray it, words words words

Today is where your book begins... All gray - that will be gorgeous. I think Oma should treat you to a massage and facial, too, and heck... just go for a full spa day!

Hahahaha
And I agree with Sue. Really milk this one. Just don't do that frosty thing you had a couple years ago. (I mean, not that it didn't look fabulous, but...)

What would have been REALLY funny? if you said, "ummm ouch..."
and then she said: "Ummmm whatever..."

SAM, this is exactly what i've been trying to tell you for the last 4 years, but you haven't picked up on my direct hints.
