Elowah, Son, Elowah

Yesterday, I took Nick, Jonas, and two other boys on a hike to a Elowah Falls. After we parked, the hike was almost a mile to get to the waterfall.

The waterfall in the background looks pretty misty in this picture. We walked around the pool of water and got under the waterfall, where the drops of water were about the size of peanut M&Ms. The water was quite cold and we did lots of screaming while we were getting doused - or at least I screamed a lot. I'm not sure about the boys.

On the way home Jonas ended up with gum in his hair. From what I understand, he did not put it there himself, but he may have rubbed it in a little once it was in place. The gum was successfully (and somewhat painfully) removed with peanut butter.

So, all in all, a great day.
