Games Galore

Along with the new year comes a return to routine and schedule. One of the highlights of my break was playing games with my family. Featured games included:

Monopoly - Nick is the reigning champion. In the final game, he wisely collected the red, yellow, and light blue properties. Along with his eight-year-old capitalist mind-set, he showed little mercy, and slowly eliminated the rest of us from the game.

Poker - No real money was exchanged. No animals were harmed.

Yahtzee - I don't remember much about this game, but I'm pretty sure we played...it was kinda late...

Life - I could only stand one game. This is one of the most tedious games ever invented. We own the Sponge Bob version. Unlike the traditional version of getting married, having kids, and buying a home, we were treated to buying a pet (I bought a clam), choosing a job (I was a short-order cook), and selecting a dwelling (I lived in a pineapple).

Foosball - In the big game last night, we played in two-person teams.
Game One - Jonas and I defeat Traci and Nick, 10-9.
Game Two - Jonas and Traci, defeat Nick and me, 10-7.
Game Three - Jonas and Nick defeat Traci and me, 10-6.
The theme here is that Jonas won every game. I will be exploring the market for making money off of five-year-old foosball players. There must be some sort of gambling ring that exists.

Mandy and her family have a table at their house and are really into it! Must be a theme for really cool, loving families. :-)
