It's Frenetic
WORD OF THE DAY, VOL.2
My favorite word recently has been frenetic. It sounds like a combination of frenzy, energetic, and phonetic - which describes the pace of the last few days. Here are several places where this great word was used. Feel free to model your usage of it from these examples.
A DUO
I heard two students perform a duo (for forensics) the other day. It was the first time I heard it, even though they attended a tournament with it. My overall comment for these guys was, "It's frenetic." For those of you that have seen the duo of Snack-bar and Snergio (names have been changed to protect the offenders), you will know what I mean - you've seen the twizzles. I expect the level of freneticism will decrease this weekend when they perform it again.
A TWIZZLE
An Olympics announcer used this word to describe a pair during the ice-dancing competition. They were quite freaky and their twizzles were not in sync. Honestly, I didn't watch much. It was a mistake. I was hoping to find something more interesting, like, umm...I can't think of anything interesting in the Winter Olympics. (Curling?!? No. You're wrong.) Oh, I did see a funny commercial that originally ran during the Superbowl.
A NIPPLE ACCIDENT
Traci told me that a neighbor boy was over and proclaimed something to the effect of, "I injured my nipple. Wait, now that I'm touching it, it's right by my heart. Am I going to have a heart attack and die?" The boy was frenetic.
Enjoy your usage of today's special word. May your days be un/non/anti-frenetic.

Oh Sam, thank you so much for the generation of new, useful words that aptly describe the whirlwind of emotions that fly so carelessly around our team/life, much like a Seagull....BU-GAWK!!!
