I Can't Hear You

Overheard at WinCo (grocery store) this evening.
(Yes, I did follow them just to see what would happen.)

CAST OF CHARACTERS
B = boy, about 10 years old
G = girl, his sister, about 8 years old
M = their mom

* * * * * * * * * *

B: You're fat.

G: You're fatter.

M: Stop it, both of you.

B: What? I can't hear you. You're too fat.

M: I told you to stop saying that.

B: I forgot.

G: No, he didn't. He didn't forget. He's just mean.

B: Mom, she called me mean!

M: Well, she's right. I can't believe you sometimes.

B: I want some donuts.

* * * * * * * * * *
It's amazing how some people tolerate disrespect.

Were they as fat as the fatty I sent you tonight? Or can anything equal that fatness?

My brother was calling me fat at the store. Why didn't you stop him from being mean to me. Don't you like me anymore?

That just legitimizes why I dislike most all children, because those fatties are going to group up into adults and then they stop being so cute.
