A Note From My Mom

I asked my mom if she would write a guest entry for my blog. She did.
Here it is -

Benny, our wonder dog 10-month old Border Collie, gets A+ here today. Here's why:

We could smell a dead mouse in the basement, but oc couldn't find it. He knows the word "mousie" from chasing them out of our woodpile. So, I took him to the sewing area of the basement and said "Find the mousie, Benny!"

Well, he got the idea right away, and soon put his paws onto a third shelf where fabric is stored, which made me think, Eeeeeeek! He barked, as if to say, "Here it is!" No kidding!

I gingerly looked under some of my favorite fleece fabric, and that's where the poor mousie was, tucked in between two soft layers of fleece, as if he were hibernating, but oc he wasn't.

We now have a good smelling basement again, and oc that fabric has been washed twice, sprayed with Fabreze, and is on the clothes line for a couple days, at least. Then I'll wash it again.

I even sprayed the wooden shelf with Fabreze. (BTW, I love Fabreze!)
