And Six Days Later-

- I arrived back home.

Meaning: A four-day trip for a two-day tournament took six days.

Monday: Left Austin (late), arrived Salt Lake City. Connecting flight to Portland had left. The next (and last) flight of the day was already booked. The eight of us waited on stand-by for four hours. Cinnabons rule! Four of us got on the late flight. Four of us (including me) stayed overnight in SLC.

Tuesday: Future POTUS MWT, Tango, Cash, and I flew to Portland. About 10% of Portland's flights were canceled, so I felt glad to make it. Roads were bad. Took the two-hour train to Hillsboro. Had pizza and snow fight. We made Kevin's friends run away in fear because of our awesome snowball skills.

Today (day 6): MWT and I went to the airport to retrieve and deliver the luggage of the privileged four who made it home Monday night. (Their luggage did not fly with them.) I would have had Delta deliver it, but I had all the baggage claims, and the (lazy) agent in Austin did not attach correct baggage claims to their corresponding bags - she just randomly (lazily) tagged our bags.

Overall, there were eight of us with good attitudes. Good times. Good folk.
