Sun Sun Sun

In two weeks, T-Mac and I are flying to San Diego with eight students to attend two forensics tournaments in a weekend. I took a group of students to this tournament about four years ago, and I predict that this trip will be better than the last one, for several reasons.

1. We're flying through Las Vegas. What can go wrong during a three-hour layover in Vegas?
2. Our team is doing great. We're hoping for some good awards and good feedback.
3. I have a new tie that I received for Christmas. It will be making its debut in San Diego. I named this tie "The Tie To Make All Other Ties Look Inferior." (NOTE: I don't name all my ties, but some of them do have names, such as "Lots Of Girls Talk To Me When I Wear This Tie," and "So Loud I Can Only Wear It Once A Year.")
4. When I went four years ago, there were two team members that hated each other. They had been best friends, and then they had a severe de-friending. This year, our team gets along great. There is no team drama.

Two things...one...my tie will kick your tie's ass, thank you very much. Second, no team drama...what are you smokin' (cause I want some of it).

Oh we'll bring the drama...I am thinking somewhere along the lines of you and T-mac losing all your money to me in poker. Yeah, that sounds about right.

God-damn...three hours in Vegas. I see this ending in someone getting trigger happy at the blackjack table, and losing the team's food budget.
Good thing we've got an elitist coming along...so rich he doesn't mind buying his own ticket out!
:)
