LOCATION: Pizza in Paradise, Hillsboro, OR
EVENT: End of season soccer awards for Jonas

WM = Weird mom, earning her name by her behavior at soccer practices - in particular, picking up leaves and knitting with ugly yarn.
D = Daughter
-----
D: I'm going to play that video game.
WM: It costs money.
D: May I have some quarters?
WM: No.
D: But I want to play that game and I want quarters.
WM: If you freak out, we're going to leave right now. I'm sorry.
D: SORRY ISN'T GOING TO MAKE IT BETTER!!!
WM: That's it - we're leaving.
D: NO - I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE!! I WANT QUARTERS!!
WM: Stop screaming. We're going to leave.
D: LEAVING WON'T MAKE ME HAPPY!
WM: I don't like how you're talking. We're leaving.
D starts to cry.
WM comforts her.
Sadly, they don't leave.

Speaking of freaking out, Benny Joe, our red-necked border collie has been doing that when we try to cut his toenails. His barking, whining, wiggling and nipping were too much for us! We had cut only ONE toenail in the last 3 weeks!!!
That problem was solved on Friday for $16.79 by having our vet, Dr Holly, and her assistant, Cindy, cut his nails. They are experts at that job!
A cloth canine muzzle, plus their expertise, settled our spoiled doggy right down. So, a muzzle will be Benny's gift for his first birthday this month!
