Fabulous cake, and a beautiful fall day - does it get any better than this?

SOME THINGS I'M GOOD AT: matching my belt to my shoes, sitting through one quarter of a football game, vacuuming, personal hygiene, laundry, making airline reservations, and arranging a long line of dominoes to knock over. SOME THINGS I'M NOT GOOD AT: anything mechanical, sitting through a whole football game, digging holes for fenceposts, speaking Spanish, basketball, video games, and finding things at home.

I agree with Tru-"ax on my neck". I think Nick should start a mini-catering company. Then you could take his money that he makes and you know...."put it away for college". Thats what my parents did. I love my parents.

We have a chocolate cake in the oven and the timer is ringing right now - and we have the reddest oak leaves ever!
That's not necessarily better - but it is good!
ps the cake will have chocolate cream cheese frosting!!
