Miss Scarlet, Rope, Library

Jonas received the game Clue for Christmas. Just thinking about the game takes me back to my childhood, when we played lots of games. Clue was a favorite. (So was Risk - I particularly remember the time we were playing in the living room and someone - not me - spilled red Kool-Aid on the carpet - probably Sue. Kamchatka from Alaska!).

I taught Nick and Jonas how to play Clue this morning, and we played a game. About halfway through the game, Jonas realized that when we show each other our cards, that is a clue as to what is/not in the middle. He then changed his guessing strategy from "weapons that look cool" to "weapons he needs a clue about."

IN OTHER NEWS
Jonas asked me the following question this morning:
If we eat a healthy breakfast, and a kinda healthy lunch, why can't we have a sugary dinner?
Answers are welcome.

I was stuck in Denver because of the big snow. I had a lot of fun out at DIA though. Lots of people that needed a holiday smile.

Sugar is only acceptable if you live in the following buildings:

*Walter
*Clark
*Vandervelden
*McCormick
*Burlingham

Once Jonas moves into one of those building...all the sugar he can eat for dinner.

Sugar has cancer causing agents. Do you want cancer Jonas? I didn't think so. Also sugar will give you nightmares. Nightmares and cancer.

Clue rules! Isn't it fun to give presents that also benefit you?

I think Lucky spilled the Kool-Aid. And it was Ann's fault anyway... wasn't she supposed to be babysitting us??? I remember we were playing Payday... the game had red stains forever. I bet it's still in Mom & Dad's game closet downstairs.

Remember the time I stepped on the steeple when we were playing Life? That sucked!

Kamchatka from Alaska... chacha-chacha-cha-cha!
