Can't Eat Just One

Tonight we returned from a weekend at Kah-Nee-Ta.
* Central Oregon.
* High Desert.
* Sunny.
* 140-foot-long slide into a double Olympic-sized hot springs mineral pool.
* Miniature golf. (OK, we didn't suffer through this - somehow managed to dodge this bullet).

There were 13 of us that went, and the best line I heard was from some friends' six-year-old daughter, as we were driving at 2:00 on Friday.

6yo girl: I'm hungry.
Me: Oh, did you have lunch?
6yo girl: Yes, but all I had was sandwiches.
Me: Did you have more than one sandwich?
6yo girl: Yes. Can I have a snack?

You can eat like that when you're young. When you get to be older, you realize you shouldn't eat like that...but you seem to put that logic aside and do it anyway.

You went camping and you didn't tell me. You, me, and the warm mineral springs. Me with a PBR in my hand sitting on your lap...and you trying to get me to drink your expensive, crappy beer.

I missed you, you sweet thing. Single C-Single A-LL me!!

Sounds like you had a good time...plus, that kid sounds like me after a dinner was served that wasn't to my liking. :-)
