New For 2006
Traci and I bought a couch in 1992 - a futon, actually.
We had a new cover made for it in 1999 and said farewell to the red and blue southwest pattern.
Today, our new couch was delivered - a sectional, actually.
IT RULES! Day one: no spills/stains. Success.
In other news, I did my lecture at the university tonight on "The dark side of personal relationships: What researchers tell us about jealousy, gossip, and breakups." People were attentive and laughed when they were supposed to. The best thing about the lecture being over: Now those posters on campus with my photo announcing the lecture can be taken down.

Yay! Sorry I missed the lecture, gotta love being on duty. However, I took down all those silly posters in MacHall so you are free and clear...at least in my building.
Also...perhaps a poker night to try out the new couches? Alls' I'm sayin'.

oh man i will be sad to see those posters come down because they brighten up my day every time i see them, just imagining what you're whispering through those clenched teeth. sorry i missed the lecture, i had really been looking forward to it! i would have gone if i could!!!

I noticed one of those posters while the debaters were prepping in Marsh a few days back and it freaked me out! I'm glad it went well!

I didn't miss the lecture. It was great. I have to agree with Tiff...we need to have a team night to break in the sectional.

No stains. I can fix that in a hurry! What kind of stains do you want? Mustard? Jelly? Oh! PBR!! I can get you a good PBR stain since I'm on my new diet. What do you think about that?!

I have some advice about the secional. Don't fall asleep on the crack. One time I did and I woke up and thought I was kidnapped....by the couch. But maybe your couch complies with the new legislation regarding the sectionalness of the....sectional. I miss the futon... oh futon.. oh futon... Futon.. I cry myself to sleep oh futon.. FALSE. I do not miss the futon.

1. The new couch while it was still new.
2. The lecture.
3. The posters of the lecture.
