Mr. Mom
Yesterday, at 2:30pm, Traci, her mom, Kevin, and Christina started their drive to San Jose.
I'm home with the three younger kids (aged 2-10). Until Sunday night.
Today, the first full day of Dad-Fest '07, was a success for several reasons.
* I remembered to take Nick to his guitar lesson - and I remembered to pick him up.
* I made chicken quesadillas for dinner, and one of the boys stated, "These are better than the ones they make at school."
* I invited a friend over for the boys; they were thrilled.
* Jules had success on the toilet.
* After Nick and I made shakes with ice-cream, milk, chocolate, and fresh mint, Jonas summed it up by saying "It tastes like we're drinking the garden." For round two, we left out the mint - much better.
Tomorrow, we may venture to the bowling alley for "glow bowl," where they use black lights and play bad music.

Glow Bowling=$42 (I'm guessing here)
Ingredients for chicken quesadillas=$12
Achieving cooking skills rivaling that of a school cafeteria=Priceless.

my dad used to be mr. mom sometimes when my mom went to visit her sister. Meals= McDonalds and pizza. Until he mastered the fatty meaty burrito. Which was totally a winner.
And Yea for glow bowling...What could be better than black lights and terrible music???
