Mother-less House
For Mother's Day, we sent Traci and her friend a'packin' to Seaside for a two-night family-free trip. I mean, really, what better way for her to celebrate Mother's Day than a vacation from her mother-like duties? So, at oh-twelve-hundred and three-fourths hours (see what I did there? it's military time), they were off.
Some highlights of my afternoon/evening with the boys -
* Playing tennis with Kevin. He beat me in two sets, 6-3, 6-2. I decided that I hate racquetball and blame it for my horrible tennis swing.
* Playing Monopoly with Kevin, his friend Daniel, Nick, and Jonas. Kevin was out first (after he claimed that I always manipulate him into making bad property trades - when he was the one that offered me a trade, giving me a monopoly that ultimately caused his demise). Jonas got bored, so Kevin took his spot. Not only was Kevin the first loser, he was also the second loser. Daniel was out next, after landing on two of my orange properties with hotels. So, that left Nick (with the railroads and the light blue properties) and me (with the other 19 properties). I told Nick that we could call the game a tie if we stopped playing. Wisely, he agreed.
* Playing tennis with Nick and Jonas. There were no winners or losers. We just played. You know, everything doesn't have to be about winning and losing.

Why can't we have ballots like that? There is no winner here, even though you have more points won on this argument. Either that, or settle everything with either a green or blue ball. Alls I'm saying.
And you really need to take a summer school class in military time. I think we're offering one in the TIC, check with the helpdesk...they're very helpful.

I blame raquetball for all that is bad in my life too....doesn't always work, says the judge.
Man, that wasn't funny at all. I blame raquetball for messing up my comedic swing.

Oh, let's play again this week while I'm on the subject! :-)

I think you are a liar. Life is about winners and losers. I mean, without people like Truax there couldn't be winners like me.

Why didn't you send me with Traci? You know, I could use some break from life - this not having a job thing is exhausting. Plus, my favorite cigar shop is in Seaside. You're a jerk.
When's the next poker game?

Try blaming stuff on your gambling problem. Once, I insensitivly (sp?) made a joke and my freshman roomate burst into tears.... apparently there are some things you just can joke about. I hope to live in a time when its ok to joke about gambling problems...and the Holocoust.
