Not Boot Camp

"Camping" by the big pool was good. Low/high-lights include:

* Our pop-up tent trailer not popping up - Traci's mom had her tent trailer there, so we crashed with her, with a few kids sleeping in the van.

* The portable propane grill not working - hooray for the electric skillet!

* Kevin brought six friends, and they rented a teepee for both nights. Their big goal of the trip was, in their own words, "to talk with girls." They report that one night they talked with "a couple of drunk girls," but I don't think that counts. If anything, they should lose points for that.

* Speaking of losing, during a volleyball game, the teams were:
- - Nick, Jonas, Carter (their 9-year-old friend), Kevin, Traci and me.
- - Kevin's friends - six guys going into their senior year of high school.
We won. As Kevin said, "HA! You guys were beat by the old people and kids!"

* One of Kevin's friend's wore a Speedo to the pool one day.

* The slide is still big.

Next camping trip: Leaving Sunday for a spot on the Santiam River.

ANSWER FOR ASH:
Kinda in a joking voice - like he was saying words to indicate that he was be ironic-al, BUT he was kinda strutting and seemed to enjoy showing off his body.
Do you want his number?

Are boys allowed to wear speedos? Actually, is anyone allowed to wear speedos anymore? Sounds like you had a really rough time.

I just reread this and realised you voluntarily took 7 hs boys on a vacation. That makes you like the best parents ever. My parents never took me and six of my friends on vacation. (insert deprived sniffle)
