The Real SuperBowl

Glow Bowl yesterday was pretty fun. We bowled three games, and each game proved to have a highlight.

GAME 1 - Jules was kinda scared of the music and lights, until a Kelly Clarkson song came on. Then she started dancing. Apparently, Kelly Clarkson takes the fear out of bowling alleys. High scorer: Nick.

GAME 2 - We ordered some food, and once it arrived during the fourth frame, Jules didn't want to bowl - she's a good eater. So, I took over her game, and bowled five strikes in a row - which is NOT normal for me. The unattractive guy next to us, who was practicing bowling by himself, made an audible gasping noise with each of my five strikes. He seemed fairly disgusted with me. I acted like this was normal for me. High scorer: Jules/FondlySam.

BETWEEN GAMES 2 AND 3 - I took Jules to the bathroom to change her diaper. When we came out of the bathroom, Nick stopped me, pointed, and said, "Don't go over there. A person was stopped for stealing, and they're calling the cops." Sure enough. The boys watched intently as four cops arrived and handcuffed a woman. Nick and I talked about what she could have been stealing, since nothing, except bowling balls, was accessible. It's a mystery.

GAME 3 - In a drawing, we won a free admission into a future session of Glow Bowling. So, next time, one of us gets in free. Hooray for saving $6! High scorer: Jonas.

Oh, in fake/Wii bowling, my new record is 267. Traci still has the high score of the house - which makes sense since she's a better person than I am.
