Dessert-Mania

This is the fourth month that I am sticking to my "two desserts per month" resolution. In previous months, I made some unwise dessert choices, such as something completely non-memorable at Red Robin and birthday cake from Costco.

For April, my goal was to choose two desserts that were A-plus quality. I succeeded.

DESSERT #1 - Early in the month, in Florida, with those crazy speech kidz - Chili's restaurant. Upon T-funny's recommendation, I ate a chocolate chip cookie bar (warm and mushy) with ice-cream, caramel syrup, and chocolate syrup. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

DESSERT #2 - Tonight, Traci and I were home with Jonas (Kevin was at a dance and Nick was sleeping at a friend's house). To try to convince him that spending a night with mom and dad was NOT the worst thing in the world, we gave Jonas some options to do something special with us, and he chose Coldstone Creamery. Going in, my mind-set was in the right place: Only get something if it is pretty much guaranteed to be absolutely fabulous. As I was looking at the choices of ice-cream, I pretty much decided that I would not order anything, until I saw it - a new flavor that I had never experienced in ice-cream, but one of my favorite foods in the world - cake batter ice-cream. Who knew it existed? I was not disappointed. It was better than I had hoped it would be.

Happy. Happy. Happy.

Mmm, we should have a "team" dinner at Chili's. Paradise Pie included.

My favorite dessert = cigarettes. (But you probably already knew that.)

PS - I met a new guy at the bowling alley last night. I think his name is Herb. He promised to call - keep your fingers crossed.

Kevin was not at the prom. He was at a dance at a friend's high school. He and his friend both like the same girl...and it looks like she likes Kevin...not totally sure. Never too young to start those awkward moments, eh?

Isn't it funny that truax called you same? he didn't even bother to capitalize it.. what a chode.... conversation I had with my friend who was an RA.... Mark Truax applied to be a network assistant.....does he know anything about computers? To which I replied; that's classified information, you'll have to talk to his press secretary.

My bitchy cousin LOVES cake batter ice cream with sprinkles.... my favorite is at Thanksgiving time they have pumpkin ice cream (sounds gross but really good) and i put grahm crackers as a topping and I have myself a really cold pumpkin pie.... yay for cold stone
